In 2017, Ahmed relocated to Russia after completing three years in the English Literature Department at the Faculty of Arts in Egypt. A year later, he was rewarded with the Excellence Fellowship, which granted him a tuition-free Bachelor’s degree at the School of Advanced Studies (SAS).

In 2019, Ahmed joined the SAS staff, where he became responsible for developing peer-learning strategies, leading the Academic Writing Center, and organizing key promotional events. In 2021, collaborating with the SAS administration, he co-designed the Excellence Track program. The following year, Ahmed took on the role of Creative Director for the Summer School and Educational Intensive, and earned his Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Studies. His academic life at SAS, which covered a wide ensamble of thinkers from Nietzsche, Plato, Peterson to Freire, Rumi, and Arendt, significantly influenced and shaped his intellectual taste. His BA thesis was dedicated to analyzing Arendt’s educational ideas, using Kantian, Nietzschean, and Bandura’s lenses.

In 2022, Ahmed started his Master’s in International Relations at the University of Tyumen, which he pursued after winning the Global Universities Association Olympiad, "OpenDoors." In the same year, he assumed the role of the Head of Educational Projects at SAS. He made substantial contributions to the School’s educational strategy, both in policy and curriculum design. In 2023, under the guidance of the SAS Director, Ahmed reimagined the core curriculum underlying its philosophy and disciplines and introduced enhancements to the major curricula in collaboration with SAS faculty members.

In 2024, Ahmed completed his Master’s degree with a dissertation on energy policies and cooperation in the Middle East. Simultaneously, he participated in the “OpenDoors” Olympiad and secured 2nd place against 1,500 participants. He is pursuing a PhD in Management at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University (SPbPU).

Alongside his administrative duties such as overseeing the educational operation and implementing SAS education-related strategies, Ahmed designs and teaches SAS special core courses, such as Paideia, City as a Text, Personage of the First Year, and Emerging Horizons.
