Alexey Larionov

Alexey Larionov is a PhD student at the School of Law, University of Tyumen, where he focuses on the genesis of Russian system of government as a unique state and legal phenomenon. He holds BA and MA degrees in Law.

Alexey serves as the Director of the Center for Career Development and Alumni Relations at the University of Tyumen. In this role, he develops links between key actors in the job market, the university, and its alumni community. Previously, he worked at the Tyumen Regional Duma and has actively participated in public initiatives, including organizing grant competitions for students and young professionals.

His research interests encompass the history of Russian state and law, the socio-cultural anthropology of law, political mythology, and political theology.

At SAS, Alexey is invited to teach courses such as "Underlying Principles of Russian Statehood" and "History of Russia."
