Asya Filatova

Asya Filatova earned her PhD in Philosophy from Rostov State University in 2007 and pursued further studies in fundamental sociology at the Moscow School of Social and Economic Sciences (Shaninka).

In 2021, she completed an internship at the Center for Science and Technology Studies (STS Center) at the European University in St. Petersburg. Asya has also designed educational programs and modules for School X (DSTU), T-University (DSTU), and Engineering School at the University of Tyumen.

Currently, Asya is a researcher at the R&D Center for AI-Based Educational Solutions and a visiting faculty at the School of Advanced Studies (SAS). She also holds roles as an Associate Researcher in the Social Epistemology Sector of the Institute of Philosophy at the Russian Academy of Sciences and as an Associate Professor at the School of Education, University of Tyumen.

Her research interests include social epistemology, science and technology studies, and both theoretical and practical aspects of educational development, with a particular focus on curricular ideologies.
