In June 2024, the University of Tyumen and SKOLKOVO School of Management organized the “Artificial Intelligence in Higher Education” forum, which hosted experts and leaders from leading universities in Russia.

At the forum, the School of Advanced Studies (SAS) at the University of Tyumen presented the results of its educational experiments. Since last year, SAS has been the primary hub for experimenting with artificial intelligence tools in the educational process. Custom AI systems have been integrated into several undergraduate courses, assuming and questioning various functions traditionally performed by professors.

The event was attended by Valery Falkov, the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, as well as representatives from regional governments, rectors of prominent Russian universities, and industry experts.
